Recently, I had tickets with 2 friends to see Merrily We Roll Along & one of the gals broke her foot & was not able to manage steps to mezzanine in Hudson Theatre. These old theaters do not have elevators 🛗 I contacted Today Tix via email & explained I needed to change 1 seat for orchestra. Today Tix worked with the Theatre to find a solution. Yes, they could change seat but the price would be $179, Yikes! Next was suggested we cancel tickets & receive a voucher to see show at later date. We chose the voucher. Now we have until August to get new tickets

I have been going to the theatre for decades & have never had.such an easy & happy resolution. I truly appreciate the way everything was handled & you can be assured this is the best site to get your discount tickets

Cozy Belgium Cafe

BXL is a wonderful find. Located@ 125 W.43rd St. Across the street from & Juliet, the musical 🎵. The waitress was wonderful suggesting Beligian specialties. Their mussels are their top meal , moules facies It is a very narrow cafe. The ambience is european. Has been open since 2004. Has bar service & serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. I had a traditional meatballs in tomato 🍅 with frites with mayo–Mayo on French fries was different but good Make a reservation cause it was crowded. Staff is sensitive to theatre time. Funly decorated; highly recommend.

A Must See

Pop Music 🎵 & Shakespeare

This show is the story of what happens to Juliet’s life after Romeo’s demise. Shakespeare‘s wife changes things. Juliet begins having fun & traveling with her nurse, best friends Mai & April. Wonderfully hilarious shenanigans start. The music is kool & tells the story with “Hot 100” songs. The choreography, staging & lighting keep you mesmerized. The well known songs bring laughter to Shakespeare. The momentum is non-stop even after intermission. The show is fun, hilarious & hip. The finale is a blow-out of excitement!

The talent on stage is amazing & riveting! I saw the U/S for Juliet, Rachel Webb & she was brilliant. Her voice was spectacular. Don’t ever be disappointed when an understudy is on. These peeps are exceptional. The entire cast were wonderful, of course the ensembles make the show. If you want to leave the show laughing & happy this is the show for you

I got my 🎟️ $79. great seats in the upper mezzanine. The seats are stadium & so no blockage of stage.

How To Get A Table🍺🍺

Friday night my friends met at the new Talea Beer Company venue in the West Village on Christopher St. Easy to get to,take #1 local & get off at Christopher St.

This place was packed with no seats except Outside 🥶 Brrr. As my friend searched out area for another spot I kept looking for a table awaiting another pal. This venue not only serves beer 🍺 but also wine 🍷 & cocktails. The colors are soft mauve, even the AC with interestingly art work, semi circle bar & great view of street. Noise level is high. Waitstaff engaging , friendly & helpful. They romanticize the beers to help you sect a draft. Jeepers still no seat, my time is running out. I see my 2 friends outside when a gal signals me from a table of four-just what I needed. She beckons me over & tells me they are leaving & wants me to have the table. I am so gleeful. Walked over $ I bestow bountiful thanks. She & her friends tell me I am the only person that is festive & they loved my look. They were dressed in dark colors -go figure. Matter of fact they told me for their Company Christmas party they were all wearing my headpiece.

Moral to evening. Be your unique self & exude happy vibes & see what happens

The menu is great with beers & food. If you desire pizza you can go next door & get a pizza. We had the cheese & charcuterie board & there was a purple carrot that tasted like a carrot lol

Off Broadway 🎭

This show is a must see for fun, and a gorgeous body, a true story of a boy whose mother dressed him as a girl till 4 years old A heart-felt tale of how his life progressed; the amazing road to happiness. This the true story of Kenneth Marlowe aka Mr. Madam.

Kenneth is portrayed Wade McCollum, Wade is a spectacular actor. He evokes emotions of joy, shock, sadness, heroism & 💕 love. His body is chiseled with gorgeous legs that run a mile.

Marlowe tells the story of his many careers, & what he did to survive and become Kate Marlowe. A must see show that opened during Transgender week.

A fabulous venue, St. Luke’s Church basement called Playhouse 46. There is cabaret seating & stadium seating. Intimate spot.

I met the Playwright/Director, Donnie Horn sweeping leaves 🍁 out of the entrance. Very personable & interesting. He told me he was from Portland & owner of Triangle Production. It is one of the oldest LlGBTQ-identified theaters. http://www.trianglepro.org

This show runs through December 31st. Take a friend & enjoy a wonderful show. Afterwards stop into Beer Culture on 45th St, this joint only serves beer & shots 🍺🥃

Scary thriller

Need to get a thrill during lead up to Halloween then this is the show for you. Staging is so original & acting superb. The writing ✍️ plus directing leads you to a shocking conclusion,

Picture this, a mother with OCD & doomsday outlook who hasn’t left her suburban ranch home in years. A son who wants to leave & live his life without his mother’s hang ups & a selfish frightened neighbor. A true psychological dysfunctional thriller. The theater is intimate & brings you into the setting. You can sense the anxiety with a shiver. Lotsa laughs abound

I took a pic with the star ⭐️. This was a great show & fun to see during the Halloween 👻 month. Tickets 🎟️ are cheap.

Pier 26

Looking for a terrific day in the Big Apple 🍎 then take the M20 bus to North Moore street & head towards the Hudson. Usually I would take a subway but my friend , Bob, suggested the bus. I felt like I was on a tour bus viewing the beautiful architecture, stores & folks on the street. I enjoyed the ride so much returned to Port Authority. Seeing the peeps who are bus riders fascinated me.

What’s on Pier 26? Tons of fun things to do! First activity was miniature golf ⛳️ 18 holes. The course is challenging with water holes, tunnels & rocks 🪨. The cost is $10.00 & that is really cheap. An area with a gigantic jungle Jim, no we didn’t climb it. Walkways leading to the Hudson with panoramic views of Jersey, Statue of Liberty, Governors Island, sail boats, ferries ⛴️ & helicopters. My senses were invigorated with joy. There is a lower walking deck to discover the River life but was closed cause high tide. You see after lunch at the City Winery & napping 💤 on the V wooden slates lounge chairs it was high tide. Pier 26 is a relaxing place with spectacular scenery, gorgeous ripped bodies & cutest pets. Between dozing we discussed the peeps we saw.

The City Winery was a great spot for lunch. Our waitress, The weather was so warm & sunny we sat on the roof top with the gorgeous view and f the harbor Ellen, told us when she was in grammar school the teacher asked the studs what they wanted to be. Ellen gave the very best answer:”I want to be like Joan Rivers and sell stuff on QVC”. 😂😂😂We instantly loved her. Only in New York can you here this. Bob & I both had the most delicious Mac & Cheese with pints of Montuck IPA’s. They Do Not Accept Cash

Irish ☘️ Pub

Returned to Garvey’s ☘️ Irish bar with the cutest Irish waiters & brogue. This fun spot with delicious Irish beverages & food. The manager, JP, is sensitive to the time frame of the theatre. The Nederlander Theater 🎭 next store. I had an Irish corned beef sandwich , corned beef was delicious with just enough grizzle for added taste.Joe had Shepherds pie & raved about the freshness of it. Of course we had Irish ☘️ 🍺 beer. Found out on Monday’s have live Irish band.

Stop in & enjoy the fun & welcoming vibe. This my second time here & will return. This bar is on 41st street between 7th & 8th Avenue. Checkout website. Tell JP kitty sent you or saw it on my blog.

We met folks from Alaska on our way in & they were heaping praise about joint & even pecked Joe’s cheek . An Irish ☘️ futbol team was sitting next to us. All were in good spirits. Sit in the main room to enjoy vibrant atmosphere.
