Prelude to Netflix series

The Marquis Theater is the perfect arena for this show. It starts out like a movie with a large newspaper exploding with headlines about a ship 🛳️ on a secret mission that takes the crew to another dimension The visuals are riveting & filled with excitement. What makes it greater are fans who are laughing & gasping. The theater plunges into darkness with screaming & screeching. Now present day begins with a high school preparation for their high school musical 🎶 The story is lame until Henry Creel, Louis McCartney making his Broadway Debut, & his radio enter the story. Pets start being killed, kids are injured & family drama becomes insane. The has highs & lows but it does keep you interested. Between the amazing cast, 💨 smoke, monster sounds & soaring to peaks you will be enraptured. The 2nd act takes off with a blast. A tad gorey, but the fan keep you on the edge of your seat. I really enjoyed it & was screaming & laughing. This show definitely has the WoW factor & keeps you hyped up At the very end you see scenes from the Netflix show. Henry Creel contorts , twirls & reacts to electronic stimulation in unbelievable movements; superb!! Acting was perfect

This show is a big, bold & dazzling show. It has everything musical 🎶 needs to be a hit. The creative team has created the Wow! Factor in staging, costumes & music 🎼. The black & white cartoon is interlace throughout the reality of the show. Costumes are dazzling, choreography is tap dancing supreme. Music 🎼 is upbeat & memorable. The star, Jasmine Amy Rogers, is making her Broadway debut & owns this role. Jasmine is the real “Boop”! The story is brilliant & wraps the cartoon into the every day scenes. You must see this show!!! How can I forget Pudgy, Betty’s dog. Pudgy is a puppet & his handler is wonderful

Cracked Open

This high impact & emotional show written & directed by Gail Kriegel is difficult to watch but most important to see. It is a powerful story with a cast that performs masterfully. Off Broadway 🎭 deals with this hard topic in a truly compelling way. It is a must see to understand how the patient & family are effected. This shows the stigma attached with mental illness, sibling reactions & the parents. Tragic! While a difficult topic a worthy show to experience so you can have a reasonable understanding I applaud the cast for their dedication in their roles. BravoBart Shatto as Rich

Everyone Loves a Mummy

This is a unique & clever Broadway 🎭 show. The music 🎶 is bluegrass & jazz western. The storytelling is electricfying & hilarious. The premise is the mummified Elmer McCurdy’s true story of becoming a mummy and his decades of exploitation in museums, fairs, carnivals & bars. McCurdy is a riffraff bandit. Train hopping lover of women, booze, fighting & gambling. The truly portrays this true story with hilarity. Embalmed with arsenic till someone claims body starts this riveting story . There is a rockabilly band onstage. Andrew Durand, Elmer McCurdy, gives a strong performance. I really enjoyed this awesome show

This Broadway show is a must see. The story takes place in the Boyle Heights section of Los Angles in 1987 during ICE raids. The story of a Mexican woman who owns an illegal dress factory & has big dreams for her employees, family & better future. A brilliant show that explores body image, immigration & empowerment. The acting is excellent.Memorable song’s & choreography that gets you tapping your toes. You will become part of their dreams & drama. Cheering for their success. This musical 🎶 is hilarious, emotional & heartwarming

At our show there was a star change mid-show. Tatiana Cordoba lost her voice & u/s, Ariana Burks, went on making her Broadway debut. The audience cheered loudly. The ensemble is terrific ! All the Tony nominations are so well deserved. The show is well directed by Sergio Trujillo. AKC Museum of the Dog

The Dog 🐶 Museum celebrates all breeds of the dog. Located steps from Grand Central Station at 101 Park Avenue The current exhibition is Honoring the Point Dog. There is a collection of portraits of setters to foxhounds The museum has many interactive exhibits. One of my favorite exhibits was training Molly to be a service dog. If you spoke near the microphone Molly would obey your commands. Extensive library. Gorgeous portraits of 🐕 dogs 🐩 throughout. At the entrance is a is a device that will take your picture & tell you what breed you are. First time I was a bulldog& second a Pomeranian. Lots of fun reading descriptions. I was surprised by how interesting it was & really enjoyed it. We had a Coonhound & Beagle mix growing up. My friend currently has a guard dog. There are interesting & educational exhibits

The Broadway show is based on the TV show with the same name. It is the same plot with a different theme. The show is about making a Marilyn Monroe Bombshell musical. You still have Karen, Caroline Bowman, & Ivy, Robin Hurder with all their issues. The is great & interesting with some new characters. The beginning is slow to kick off (about 15-20)! Wham once it gets going it is non stop with hilarity, dancing & mayhem. Liked the Millennial influence.

Robyn Hurder was made for this role. Her performance was excellent–the real Marilyn Monroe. The entire cast performed stupendously 👏👏👏The songs are from the TV show. The audience was into & there was applause throughout the show. Brooks Ashmanskas, Nigel, gave an extraordinary performance. He was perfect in his role👏👏👏👏👏

If you never saw the show don’t be concerned. This is a complete show for fans of TV show & those who love musicals with dancing, electric performances & glitzy costumes.

This show presents a story of music 🎶, love ❤️ & redemption plus the real sound of Havana in 1956 & 1996. The dance floor sizzles with Salsa 💃 dancing 🕺🏻. The music 🎼 of bongos, guitars 🎸 & horns force you to dance in your seat! The music lyrics are in Spanish but along with the Playbill comes a booklet “Every Cuban song has a story to tell”.

The director , Saheem Ali, keeps the show on tract & moves seemlessly. The 2hrs & 10 minutes flies by. The dialogue is in English. Patricia Delgado, Choreographer, has actors dancing Salsa variations the rock

The story takes place at the private Social Club & the tourist Tropicana as an uprising is taking place in Cuba. The story is romantic with hard choices.

This show is exciting with excellent performances & storytelling. The music & dancing unite it. You must see this show 🎭❤️🎼🎶🎼
